Exam engine features
Take exam in learn mode which provides interactive learning environment where candidate can go through each question and view flash cards and correct answers for each question, Exam mode which simulates actual exam environment and candidate needs to answer exam created by instructor in a given time without any help from flash cards or, Review mode which can be used to view saved exams with answers selected by candidate along with correct answer and detailed explanation for each question.

- At end of each exam candidate is given a score calculation, along with topic wise analysis (how much score is obtained in each topic) and time analysis (shows how much time was spent on each question) of the exam.
- Students can export the exam results (questions, answer options, answers selected and explanation) to a pdf document at the end of the exam
- All online exams can be monitored by administrator using geolocation of the student taking the exam and using image casting feature.
- Customize the application to display your own institute logo.
- Import any number of lessons and view them.

Anand Software and Training, an innovative eLearning provider, released “Learning and Assessment Software (LAAS)” to help provide eLearning tools to students, institutes, and organizations. The software is a complete solution for offering content and assessment exams online, be it an academic institute or an organization. The software consists of four modules as mentioned below:
The Content emgine delivers content in various forms, including plain text, rich text, pdf, and multimedia. The content may be organized hierarchically. It is also possible to embed youtube videos in the content, without the need for reproducing or reformating the youtube videos. Also, Microsoft Office documents may be delivered with the content engine. For more information, please visit the Content Engine home page.
The exam engine is responsible for delivering assessment tests to the candidates as chosen by the author. Questions may consist of simple text/html, pdf, exhibit-based, or multimedia. Several exam configuration options such as disabling some navigation buttons (for example, you don’t want the candidate to go back or provide a review) are provided. As may be seen in the picture above, several features such as text resizing, full-screen view, night view, bookmarking, etc provided. The reporting module analyzes and provides the results in the format that is configured by the author. The overall pass, category wise or sub-category-wise scores may be displayed. It is possible to provide conditional pass criteria such as declaring an overall pass only if a candidate passes certain categories or sub-categories. The statistics are available on the server-side for further processing and analysis.
Note that the software is specifically designed for delivering content and assessments to students, and not a school management software that is widely available elsewhere. Anand Software and Training, recently released Mac Operating System compatible version of it’s practice exam engine. Several of the tests including Cisco CCNA , CCNP, Comptia® A+ , Network+ , Security+ , Juniper JNICA have been made available on Mac with the update.With this update, the practice exams software is available on all major operating systems including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Features of the exam engine are briefly given:
1. Support for various question types including Multiple Choice Questions (single and multiple answers), Drag n Drop, Testlets, and Hot spots.
2. Terminal screen configuration options such as font adjustment, night mode, and full screen view.
3. Program feature adjustments like timer, exam modes, navigation buttons, etc.
4. Review screen for seeing all questions and selecting any question randomly for review
5. Score card with category wise scoring
6. Detailed statistics
Further, all the practice tests have been grouped into the exam engine so that candidates can download and install any exam module such as CCNA or A+ without having to leave the exam environment. The trial download may be upgraded to full version by using the buy link provided in the trial version of the software.
The software is available through Practice Exams for Mac OS on app store
You may view individual Mac apps by going to simulationexams.com Mac OS Practice Tests
The downloads are available in trial versions which are limited to 30 questions. The full version will have 300+ questions and answers. HTML enabled flash cards provide media enabled pages with detailed explanation for each question.

Simexams.com recently launched, exam software consisting of two parts. 1) The author engine is free to download and use. Any number of tests may be created using author engine. There is no limit on the number of questions in a particular test.
2)The Author Engine enables an author to perform several activities including Creating, editing, and/or deleting a test/Groups and Candidate profiles, Questions.
