Thirty years ago Whisco Component Engineering Inc. was incorporated.  Three former Motorola employees founded the company. The concept was to design, develop and manufacture products for the communications market. Comtelco Industries was created as a division of Whisco Component Engineering Inc. to distribute products that were designed by the parent company.  This company eventually evolved into Comtelco Industries Inc.  Comtelco is a wholly owned subsidiary that sells products throughout the world that are manufactured in our plant in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
