EMI Hardened, EMP shielded cable assemblies

Lightweight, low loss Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) hardened High Technology Shielding (HTS) coaxial cables are high performance EW-grade assemblies with EMI shielding protection above 30 MHz. These cables assemblies complying with the MIL specs are used on systems in which RF shielding is important without degradation to insertion loss or flexibility.

Keyed Connectors

Keyed connector arrangement is a useful solution when multiple cable assemblies with identical connector interfaces are required to be coupled or de-coupled frequently without error. This solution allows only the correct connector pair to be mated thus avoiding any system level damage. 

Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Contamination Survivable (NBCCS) Cable Assemblies

These RF cable systems are designed and manufactured to withstand nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) contamination, by using Raychem Heat Shrinkable NBCCS tubing and moulded parts with Cobham RF cables. These cables assemblies are tested to exposure from chemical agents using Army TOP 8-2-511 and provide protection against physical abuse, resistance to common vehicular and aerospace fluids and temperature extremes. 

Phase and Amplitude-Matched Cables

This capability includes design and manufacture of phased and amplitude matched cable assemblies either custom made to meet a specific requirement or used as it is conforming to a reference standard. The Cobham Sensor Systems’ dedicated temperature- and humidity-controlled facility meets the requirements of MIL-DTL-87104 or MIL-T-81490. 

SL Multi-port Interconnection System

Spring Loaded (SL) multi-port connector conforms to MIL-T-81490 and MIL-DTL-87104.  SL connectors are used for defense applications.
